IT Innovation Analyst

The IT Innovation Team has the task of identifying the potential of technology trends, implementing prototypes, and supporting our colleagues in the development of ideas. Searching the market for exciting solutions and start-ups is also part of the job, as is advising our colleagues on technology trends.

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:

TECHNOLOGY TRENDS

You overview technology trends and assess their relevance to the company

You are supporting your colleagues with expertise on technology trends such as AI, Blockchain, Digital Assistants, Immersive Reality, etc.

You acquire knowledge about technology trends yourself, gain experience in their application (POCs, evaluations) and identify which uses there may be in the Group context

STAKEHOLDER & PARTNER EXCHANGE

You build a contact network within the company

You build a contact network with partners and suppliers

PROOFS-OF-CONCEPT AND EVALUATIONS

You plan and realize proofs-of-concept

You perform evaluations of interesting solutions

You communicate and present results and status reports to stakeholders

STARTUP & MARKET OVERVIEW

You exchange ideas with start-up accelerators to identify potentially exciting start-ups for our business departments

You actively search the market yourself for interesting solutions and partners

You point out interesting solutions/start-ups to share them with stakeholders

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

that matter most for this role:

• Professional experience in technology innovation or digitalization role
• Knowledge and interest in current technology trends and their potential in a business context
• Interest and passion to work with new technologies and acquire knowledge
• Hands-on mentality
• High level of personal responsibility and very good moderation, presentation & communication skills
• University degree in IT related studies or equal practical experience
• English is mandatory. German is beneficial.
• Travel 0-10%

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2,041 (full-time basis) gross per month.
